CEO and Founder
Tim is one of the industry’s leading experts on cyber security, holding the Microsoft MVP for 3 years; and directing ISSA, the world’s leading association for cyber security professionals.
He founded 2-sec in 2011, to address the growing need for independent cyber security advisory and expert-led consulting.
Tim’s professional advice has been featured on the BBC (TV and Radio), The Times, The Guardian and industry publications such as SC Magazine and Computer Weekly, where he authors a dedicated column.
His 20+ year career has included global roles at IBM, Panasonic, British Airways, Lloyds TSB, and Trustwave.
Luke leads business development, sales and account management for 2-sec. As part of this role Luke is responsible for taking new, as well as existing clients, through the range of 2-sec cyber security services.
Prior to joining 2-sec Luke has worked within the Cyber Security industry since 2008, starting initially as a specialist Cyber Security headhunter before moving into a broader role in business development. Luke has been invited to speak at several Cyber Security events and panel sessions, and speaks in particular on the challenges faced today by CISOs and CIOs.
Luke has worked with many clients across the UK ranging from defence providers, energy firms, retail brands and technology services, as well as across the financial services industry.
Cyber Practice Lead
Paul works at board and senior management level to develop strategy; and advises organisations on compliance, regulatory and information security requirements.
He has over 15 years of experience in security management, consultancy, pre-sales and project delivery on a wide range of solutions and services. Chief among these are enterprise security architecture, operational management, audit (including ISO 27001), information assurance, cyber maturity, cloud security, and risk management for both public and private sector organisations. Prior to working in cyber security, Paul had 10 years’ experience in retail banking.
The 2-sec Cyber Security Team
Jasper is the first point of contact for clients regarding 2-sec’s technical and consulting services across our testing, advisory and compliance services. As an Account Manager Jasper is responsible for understanding clients’ future work needs and ensuring a clear and successful dialogue between clients and our expert consultants.
Jayne is responsible for business operations at 2-sec; and ensures projects are delivered successfully and on time.
She also looks after key accounts, with over 8 years’ professional experience in the IT and Cyber Security sectors.
Salvatore is a successful serial entrepreneur who is now channeling his expertise and experience into being a board advisor for growing and innovative technology companies like 2-sec, with over 25 years of boardroom experience.
He has an in-depth experience of working within in partnership with the SME sector: He is co-founder of Boardroom Excellence, a SaaS professional services portal for the SME sector; and is regularly invited to speak at SME forums.
Alex specialises in the testing of web applications and complex network infrastructures. He holds a BSc in Computer Security and Forensics.
Patrick specialises in GDPR, ISO 27001, web application testing and social engineering. He holds a MSc in Computer Forensics and Cyber Security.
Michael specialises in the testing of web and mobile applications; and is an experienced full stack developer.
David’s expertise centres around delivering collaborative information security solutions to high-end corporate clients, and innovative ideas into the payments space. David plays a pivotal role in 2-sec’s PCI DSS activities – he is one of our lead trainers; and has performed dozens of onsite PCI DSS assessments for us throughout the world.
Anthony delivers on customer projects such as Penetration Testing and Cyber Essentials. He hols a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Surrey.
Kate has specialised in Information Security and Technology Risk for fifteen years. As Global Security Director at Aviva Insurance, her remit covered Information Security, Cyber Security, Physical Security, Business Continuity and Health & Safety. Kate defined the security strategy, developed the transformation programme and restructured the organisation of circa 120 personnel.
