What is Cyber Essentials
The Cyber Essentials scheme helps organisations protect themselves against common online threats and demonstrate commitment to cyber security. This isn’t just for technology companies. It is for any sector and any organisation that wants to better protect its business. CREST is an approved Accreditation Body under the UK Government Cyber Essentials scheme.
This scheme is a great way for organisation’s to implement a risk reduction strategy and build a security awareness culture. More organisation’s are adopting cloud as part of their IT strategy. This is making it even more important for organisations to enhance their protection and Cyber Essentials is a recognised scheme to help companies achieve this.

As a member of CREST, 2|SEC Consulting has been accredited to deliver the Cyber Essentials services. This means 2|SEC Consulting has:
- Demonstrated appropriate levels of quality assurance processes, security controls, security assessment methodologies and met CREST’s stringent additional qualification criteria
- Signed an enforceable Code of Conduct
- Proven access to technical competent and qualified staff which CREST mandates as part of its accreditation process for its Certifying Bodies
