The G-Cloud deadline: are you working towards it?

The G-Cloud is a UK Government programme that eases procurement processes for public sector organisations that seek to purchase information-technology services from the private sector.

The G-Cloud consists of a series of framework agreements with private sector suppliers from which public sector bodies can buy services, without the need to individually run their own procurement process.

There are currently 1,200 suppliers providing more than 13,000 services on the G-Cloud and the framework is currently open to new registrants.

Your business can now apply to offer your cloud technology and support services to government through the G-Cloud 8 (G8) framework.

However, the deadline for new applications is 21st June and all new businesses must now have in place a valid Cyber Essentials certification.

What is Cyber Essentials?

2-sec is a leading provider of Cyber Essentials, and our experience with certifying business across the UK means we will ensure you achieve the certification by 21st June.

A primary objective of the UK Government's National Cyber Security Strategy was to develop a basic level of cyber security self-assessment that SME organisations could go through, with the questionnaire reviewed and scored by a certifying body – like 2-sec.

If you would like more information on how Cyber Essentials works, and how we can help your business achieve it by the deadline, please contact Luke Vile on 08445 022 066.
